Pull-out test of anchors in concrete

Our civil engineer Jan Lisskov and student for M.Sc. Civil Engineering at Aarhus University Khaled M. Ghani have, along with our engineering team, in the last few months worked closely together to initiate a research project on the pull-out of anchors in concrete elements.

The purpose of the project is to gather better knowledge and data about how transport anchors and concrete react during pull-out.

Jan Lisskov, who has specialized in construction, is working in our Starcon department, where he specializes in Starcon transport anchors, cranes and lifting technology. He has been in charge of the development of the tests and equipment along with our other engineers in our Solution Center.

With the developed equipment CERTEX can perform this type of test with a tensile forces of up to 40 tons.
