The crane types we offer
We offer cranes with functions and features that cover every lifting need for companies and ports.
requires good planning and careful considerations.
When investing in a jib crane, several factors must be considered to ensure that the crane meets the company's needs and requirements, whether more or less. Purchasing an oversized crane for a specific task is expensive and unnecessary, and it is unfortunate to have an undersized crane installed.
A crane can be too small in several ways; for example, it may have insufficient lifting capacity for the desired task, too short a jib arm, or too narrow a rotation .
Depending on the available space and installation options, there are different types of jib cranes to choose from. We offer wall-mounted jib cranes, column-mounted jib cranes, and movable jib cranes. They come in various designs, with either strut bracing or low-profile construction, as well as some models with an articulated arm (foldable jib arm).
One or more struts are placed above the arm of this jib crane. Both wall-mounted and column-mounted jib cranes with diagonal strut bracing are available.
A crane with this type of bracing is suitable when headroom is not a priority.
On a low-profile jib crane, the jib arm is positioned above the brace/support to be as high up on the column as possible, or it can be placed on top of the column.
This gives a much-reduced installation height and, therefore, greater headroom.
An articulated arm is a crane arm that can bend or articulate at one or more joints. This design allows the crane to reach into tight or hard-to-access areas.
If the work area has many obstacles or limited space, this type of crane can be an advantage.
A crane's capacity (WLL) is the maximum weight it can lift. Choosing a crane with sufficient lifting capacity to handle the heaviest items is essential.
Remember that the WLL indicated on the crane is the total weight that the crane is designed to lift, i.e. the sum of the load to be lifted + the tools' own weight (crane hoist and possibly chain sling or other lifting equipment).
Overloading a crane can lead to dangerous situations and equipment damage.

A crane's outreach is the maximum distance the arm can extend from its base. Outreach indicates the distance from the crane's mounting point to the outermost point on the arm where the crane hook is effective.
A jib crane's rotation is the angle at which a jib crane can turn from the point where the jib (or crane arm) is mounted, which can be on a column or a wall, and it is always specified in degrees (°).
Infinite rotation (slewing) of 360° is also possible; the rotating unit is placed on top of the crane's column in this solution.
The column height is the height of the crane's vertical support. An appropriate column height ensures that the crane can operate freely without hitting the ceiling or other structures and that there is sufficient headroom under the jib arm to perform the desired lifts.
Finally, there are also some very practical things to consider before purchasing a new jib crane that is unrelated to the crane's daily use.
Mounting options: Consider whether the crane should be mounted on a wall, column, or floor. Each mounting method has advantages and limitations. If a fixed jib crane installation is impossible, a mobile jib crane may be the solution.
Electric or manual operation: Choose between electric or manual operation depending on the need for precision and frequency of use. Also, consider the weight of the load.
Considering these factors, you can ensure that the chosen jib crane meets the company's needs and contributes to an efficient and safe work process. If you have any doubts, please get in touch with our crane department; they will gladly help you find the best choice for your company.
