Forklift jib
A forklift crane jib for use with a forklift truck - also called a truck arm works together with a truck as a crane hoist or small crane, and it is intended for the transport of goods. It is fitted with a shackler and a swiveling safety hook at the end of the arm.
The forklift crane jib is used together with a truck by guiding the forks of the truck as far as possible into the two fork openings of the crane arm, and then fixing it according to the regulations. Please note that the distance between the fork and the inside of the fork opening must not exceed 5 mm. This is adjusted with spacers, and must be checked every time the crane arm is used together with other trucks.
The advantage of a forklift arm is that it is adjustable. The arm can be adjusted in both length and height: it is articulated and telescopic and it can be raised in 15-degree increments, up to 45 degrees, which provides a large number of adjustment options. When the crane arm is not in use, the arm must be lowered to a horizontal position and pushed into the innermost position, the support wheel must be lowered and the implement released from the truck forks. You can now place the forklift crane jib at the installation site and drive the forks out of the fork holes. The support wheel can be both raised and lowered, and it can also be completely removed.
Always pay attention to the maximum load in the load tables for the tools used. These can be found on the product's label and/or in the accompanying documentation.
Always keep a safe distance when lifting and never step under a hanging load!
If you do not need to move loads around, but simply need to lift smaller loads, we can offer small, mobile cranes or other types of lifting products. Contact one of our salespeople and we will be happy to help you find a good solution!

Observe this when using your forklift jib
Do not lift the load higher than necessary and avoid swinging the load. Pendulum oscillation can be minimized by using as short lifting slings as possible while driving slowly and carefully with the load.Always pay attention to the maximum load in the load tables for the tools used.
