CERTEX Danmark A/S has just installed the first 2 overhead cranes for the Fehmarn project

“It is impressive to see the construction site take shape in Rødbyhavn. I can definitely recommend everyone to visit the exhibition center and the lookout platform, where you get really close to the construction site,” says Søren Tranholm, Crane and Service Manager at CERTEX Danmark A/S.

The overhead cranes have the following specifications:

• Capacity: 2 x 7.5 tons
• Span: 35 meters
• Lifting height: 22 meters

The Fehmarnbelt connection is Denmark's largest infrastructure project, where the world's longest immersed tunnel is being built between Rødbyhavn and Puttgarden.

Give Steel A/S who builds for the Joint Venture company Femern Link Contractors (FLC) has chosen us as a partner in this project, where we supply overhead cranes for the production halls.

The overhead cranes are delivered from our partner GH Cranes.
