Certex Peter Harbo and CERTEX Danmark are merging
Two experts in the industry for lifting equipment and cranes will combine their competences in the future and ensure the necessary knowhow, quality and safety for our customers.
One of Esbjergs most well-known companies Peter Harbo A/S was taken over 11 years ago by the international Swedish owned group - Axel Johnson International - who also had taken over the former Vojens Tovværk A/S back in 1998. During the years with same ownership the companies have introduced the same IT-system, same quality management system and a wide range of identical products and services. From January 1st, 2019 they will make the final step and merge the two companies under the name Certex Danmark A/S.

Our customers within Renewables, Offshore, Marine and the industrial segment need increased flexibility, service and quality. By merging Certex Peter Harbo A/S and Certex Danmark A/S we can optimize the business across the companies and be more competitive and better prepared to meet the customers requirements and demands. We will have an increased product-, inspection- and service portfolio and our customers will experience an even higher degree of flexibility and support.
The Swedish owner Axel Johnson International AB is financially strong and visionary in a way which can open for long term investments and thereby contribute to ensure the position of Certex Danmark A/S as market leader in the lifting equipment and crane industry.
Head-office for CERTEX Danmark A/S is Vojens with locations in Esbjerg, Hvidovre og Aalborg. New Managing Director is Majbritt Petersen (former Managing Director in Certex Danmark A/S). Thomas Løvgren Frandsen (former Managing Director in Certex Peter Harbo) will take on a Central role within the Axel Johnson International AB’s Lifting Solutions Group coordinating activities targeted at improving growth in organic sales with responsibility for development of sales and sales management and coordination of international sales activities.
CERTEX Danmark A/S has approx. 130 employees in Denmark and sister companies in 14 countries in Europe.
