► 1887: Vojens Tovværk was founded
CERTEX Danmark originally started as a small rope track, where rope and cords were made by hand. It was hard work, but well paid, and work was done on a piecework basis. They worked with raw materials such as sisal, manila, jute, hemp, flax, and hair.
► 1973: Peter Harbo is founded
► 1986: Vojens Tovværk is listed on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange
► 1992: Vojens Tovværk is transformed into a holding company
► 1996: Starcon is established as an independent company
Starcon is the name of our lifting products for the concrete industry, such as the well-known Starcon spherical anchor system, transport anchor system and rapid anchor system.
► 2005: Vojens Tovværk is sold to the Swedish group Axel Johnson International AB.
Axel Johnson International is a Swedish privately owned industrial group that acquires and develops companies. They work from the core values:

► 2007: Vojens Tovværk changes its name to CERTEX
► 2008: Peter Harbo is sold to the Swedish group Axel Johnson International AB and changes name to CERTEX Peter Harbo
► 2019: CERTEX and CERTEX Peter Harbo merge to the company CERTEX Danmark A/S
► 2022: Today we have 5 departments spread across the country, and we are 120 employees. Our headquarter is in Vojens, and the other production and sales locations are in Esbjerg, Hvidovre and Nørresundby. The newest department is our innovation center, which is in Middelfart.
