Do you own lifting equipment that has not yet been approved?

Many companies have lifting equipment in their warehouses, which they have developed or manufactured by themselves, but never gotten approved to ensure that it is legal to use.

We can help with that.

We have recently type-approved a special lifting hook manufactured by a customer by carrying out the following:

• Load-test
• WLL labelling
• Risk assessment
• User Manual
• Name plate and serial number

The extent of the test depends on whether the product is to be mass-produced or whether the product is only to be used as a tool in your own production.

Since this lifting hook had to be produced in several copies for use in the customer's own production unit, we carried out the approval of the prototype here with our own facilities. Then our service engineer performed the test on the remaining hooks at the customer´s location, to save him the time, money and trouble it would be to have the hooks sent to us.

We can carry out load tests on smaller items at the customer, if the customer has a crane available. Our service team has rest of the necessary equipment in their service vans, in this case a load shackle.
