Roundsling produced bio-based with Dyneema® fibers
Our EXTREEMA® roundslings are now produced bio-based with Dyneema® fibers
DSM has been the first in the world to find out how to utilize waste from pulp and timber industries as a raw material in the production of ethylene.
Ethylene is used in the production of HMPE (High Modulus PolyEthylene), as well as in the production of Dyneema® (Ultra-High Molecular Weight Polyethylene).
This reduces the CO2 footprint in the environment, while maintaining the same performance for the material. This contributes to a more sustainable production of Dyneema® fiber.
This fibrous material is used, among other things, in the manufacturing of our EXTREEMA® roundslings.
