Starcon formers are semi-circular and designed to hold the anchor in place in the mold during concrete pouring. After pouring the concrete element, Starcon propagators can be removed from the anchor's head, providing free access for the Starcon lifting eye to grab the anchor head and ensure a safe lift.
The former are made of plastic and can be used several times, provided they are cleaned of concrete residue and lubricated after each use. This ensures that the lifting eye can easily and safely grip the anchor head without encountering the concrete.
Applications: The formers are used to ensure that the spherical anchor head is not covered by concrete during pouring.
Advantages: Quick coupling and disconnection of the spherical anchor.
