The Starcon wire box consists of a high-strength steel wire rope and a steel box and is used in concrete elements when these are to be mounted next to each other. It is installed in concrete elements before pouring.
Once the joint between the concrete elements has been established, the longitudinal shear forces are divided into an angled compression function and a horizontal tensile function. The wire box can be placed in the wall reinforcement and attached to the formwork using recess boxes, nails, magnets or adhesives, depending on the type of formwork.
Areas of application: Used for wall extensions, corner joints or wall-ceiling joints.
Advantages: Creates clean and consistent joints.
Cost-effective reduces the need for complex and expensive formwork, provides a simple and affordable solution for joint formation.
